FEMA is providing assistance to residents of St. Petersburg who have been affected by Hurricane Helene. This aid can cover temporary lodging, essential home repairs, and other expenses related to the storm.

For those looking to apply for assistance, small businesses in Pinellas County may qualify for Disaster Loans from the U.S. Small Business Administration. Information and applications are available at lending.sba.gov.

Residents seeking relief can visit designated locations to cool off, charge electronic devices, and collect recovery kits that include cleaning supplies, fans, and tarps. Libraries in St. Pete are also open for residents needing internet access or a place to recharge their devices.

Additionally, free laundry services are being offered for those without power at specific sites:

- The parking lot across from Allendale United Methodist Church (3803 Haines Rd. N) operates from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., with the last wash at 5 p.m.

- Clothesline Laundromat (840 49th St. N) is open Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m., with the last wash at 6:30 p.m.

Mobile restroom facilities have been set up by the City of St. Petersburg for residents impacted by Hurricane Helene.

Further information and resources regarding recovery efforts can be found on stpete.org/helene.
