Wastewater discharge affects Lake Catalina after grease blockage

On October 16, 2024, a wastewater discharge occurred at the 5600 block of 10th St. S. Approximately 1,500 gallons were released due to a blockage caused by grease. Out of this, around 1,200 gallons entered storm drains leading to Lake Catalina. The remaining 300 gallons were contained on-site. Cleanup and sanitation efforts have been completed.
