The City of St. Petersburg will resume regular operations on Monday, September 30, following the impact of Hurricane Helene. While normal services are set to continue, city teams will focus on disaster recovery efforts.

Residents are advised not to bag storm debris placed at the curb. However, debris that is disposed of in trash containers can be bagged. The city's brush sites are open for those wishing to drop off vegetative debris. These sites operate from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., seven days a week.

For detailed instructions regarding debris disposal, residents can visit stpete.org/Helene.

Currently, around 13 traffic signals throughout the city remain non-operational and repairs will be undertaken promptly. Drivers should exercise caution and treat these intersections as four-way stop signs.

Further updates and safety tips can be accessed at stpete.org/recovery.
