City Of Gulfport recently issued the following announcement.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Gulfport, Florida, will hold a public "in person" meeting with an option for the public to participate virtually by means of communications media technology on Tuesday, April 5, 2022, at 6:00 p.m.
MEETING LOCATION: The April 5, 2022, Council Meeting will be held in City Hall, Council Chambers, 2401 53rd Street South.
A copy of the agenda and any supporting documents will be available on the City’s website on April 1, 2022, https://mygulfport.us/, by contacting the City Clerk at ldemuth@mygulfport.us, or calling 727-893-1012.

b). The public may provide comment ahead of the meeting via email or mail to the City Council or to the City Clerk for submittal to City Council.
Persons who are deaf or hard of hearing may provide public input through use of these numbers via the State of Florida’s relay service, at 7-1-1. For more information visit https://www.ftri.org/relay.
As provided in Resolution No. 2021-24, public comment, regardless of method and form, is still limited to three (3) minutes.
Any person who decides to appeal any decision of the City Council with respect to any matter considered at this meeting will need a record of the proceedings and for such purposes may need to ensure that a verbatim record of the proceedings is made, which record includes the testimony and evidence upon which the appeal is to be based. The law does not require the City Clerk to transcribe verbatim minutes; therefore, the applicant must make the necessary arrangements with a private reporter or private reporting firm and bear the resulting expense. Any person with a disability requiring reasonable accommodation in order to participate in this meeting should call the City Clerk (727) 893-1012 or fax a written request to (727) 893-1008 at least 48 hours prior to the meeting.
