The St. Petersburg City Council will convene a Committee of the Whole (COW) meeting on Wednesday, June 12, to deliberate on the Stadium Agreements for the Historic Gas Plant District Development.

The meeting is scheduled to take place at 9 a.m. in Room 100 of St. Petersburg City Hall. Key participants include members of the St. Petersburg City Council, Mayor Kenneth T. Welch, and representatives from the Tampa Bay Rays.

Public attendance is permitted; however, there will be no opportunities for public comment during this session. Due to limited seating capacity in Room 100, overflow seating will be available in the City Council Chambers. The public is encouraged to watch the meeting live on SPTV via www.stpete.org/tv or on channels 641 (Spectrum), 15 (Wow), and 20 (Frontier).

The subsequent COW meeting is slated for July 9, 2024, at 9:00 a.m., with further details forthcoming.

Committee of the Whole meetings are presided over by the City Council Chair and involve all City Council members. These meetings serve as a platform for discussing various city-related issues. Actions taken during COW meetings do not become official until approved by the City Council at a regular meeting.
