The City of St. Petersburg is set to host informational sessions on the Elevate Florida program, an initiative by the Florida Division of Emergency Management (FDEM). This program aims to assist homeowners in protecting their properties from natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods.
The sessions will cover key aspects like program eligibility and available project types, alongside offering on-site help with applications. The event is scheduled for March 13, 2025, from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at the Sunshine Center located at 330 5th St. N. Presentations are planned for noon and 5 p.m.
Attendance does not require registration; however, residents can RSVP through a provided online form. The initiative is open to all legal property owners in Florida, including those owning single-family homes, multi-family homes, condos, and mobile homes.
