The City of St. Petersburg Parks & Recreation Department's TASCO division is organizing the annual Teen Resource Fair on Saturday, March 8, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Campbell Park Recreation Center. This event aims to provide local teens with access to resources and services that can assist them in achieving their academic, professional, and personal goals.
Teens attending the fair will have the opportunity to engage with various organizations offering information about post-secondary education, career development, and volunteer opportunities. They will also be able to network with professionals who can offer guidance and support for future success.
St. Petersburg Fire Rescue will participate in the event, providing information about careers in firefighting. Recruiters will be available to discuss the Fire Cadet Program, which is open to Pinellas County residents aged 18 and over. The program offers full sponsorship for training and certification costs while providing paid employment as candidates work toward becoming certified Firefighter/EMTs. This initiative requires no prior EMS or fire experience but seeks motivated individuals dedicated to community service.
The Teen Resource Fair welcomes all teens without the need for registration.
