St. Petersburg Mayor Kenneth T. Welch is set to begin the 2025 City Hall on Tour series with a community event scheduled for March 26 at The Coliseum, located at 535 4th Ave N. The event will take place from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m., and it is open to all residents without charge. Light refreshments will be available.
The first City Hall on Tour of the year will focus on the Sunrise St. Pete initiative, which has been launched with $160 million in Community Development Block Grant-Disaster Recovery funds from HUD. This initiative aims to address housing, infrastructure, and economic recovery needs in the city. Residents attending the event will have an opportunity to engage directly with city leadership and provide input on how these funds should be utilized.
Mayor Welch, along with his leadership team, conducts City Hall on Tour events in various neighborhoods to connect with residents about their concerns and ideas. Attendees can interact with city staff, including administrators, law enforcement leaders, and department directors.
