On July 8, 2024, approximately 31,920 gallons of reclaimed water were discharged at the 2000 block of Illinois Ave. NE due to a contractor drilling through the reclaimed water main. The discharge entered the storm system and flowed to Bayou Grande. The main has been shut off and repairs have been scheduled.
